Tuition only covers part of the expenses needed to give our children the gift of a Catholic education. We have several on-going and yearly opportunities to raise funds at SSA. See how you can help below.

Adopt-A-Student

     Your tax deductible contributions can be made to the Adopt-A-Student Tuition Assistance Fund enabling a student to attend Santa Sophia Academy who would otherwise be unable to have the “gift that lasts a lifetime” — quality Catholic Education here at SSA! No gift is too large or too small.

E-Giving

Your gift will fund our current priority on the campus which is the purchase of a professionally installed security camera system. With your help, Santa Sophia will be able to purchase this security camera system that will enhance our overall campus safety for everyone who visits our campus, especially our academy, preschool, and faith formation children. If you are interested in being a matching donor for Giving Tuesday this year, please contact the parish office. Your generosity can help us to provide a more secure parish campus for everyone.

Opportunity Drawing

Every SSA Family is asked to buy or sell two $100 tickets for our Opportunity Drawing that is held in May at our annual Gala event.  The Grand Prizes will total $5,000 

Your opportunity drawing commitment is between August 2023 and April 1, 2024.

Your ticket purchases support the Academy’s Tuition Assistance program and educational programs. Each Family commits to buy or sell TWO $100 Opportunity Drawing Tickets. You can volunteer selling tickets at the Parish kiosk during the Opportunity drawing events.
 

Scrip/Gift Card and E-Scrip Programs

SCRIP is gift cards and/or gift certificates available from many businesses. You can support the Academy by purchasing gift cards for a special occasion. The school receives a percentage from your purchases. The Script Program is  gift cards/certificates you can purchase at our SSA office or go to www.escrip.com and check out those opportunities. Our ID number is 137627906.

 Remember, our scrip business partners and the ones you choose to buy gift cards from will accumulate a PROFIT amount that will then be given to the school from your purchases. This fundraising program helps make improvements to our school and bring new educational programs.
