My name is Johanna Anderson. I have been blessed to be a part of the Santa Sophia Academy community for 24 years. Wow! Time flies when you are doing what you love! I love teaching third graders because they are such enthusiastic learners and fantastic helpers! I treasure the warm and loving  atmosphere. I am from Boston originally. 

I attended Saint Columbkille School for my elementary and high school years and Suffolk University where I earned my BS Degree in Journalism and Elementary Education.  I have taught first grade and fourth grade as well as worked in the Special Needs field while at home. I believe that all students grow and learn at different paces. Learning is a lifelong journey, a marathon not a race. It’s my goal to have students happy to come to school each day and to learn something new. Also, I love learning from my students as well. 

I am a huge sports fan. I love to read, sing, dance, listen to music and go to the movies. My favorite subject to teach is religion.  I could teach it all day!
